The feeder sits on a suction cup bar, allowing effortless placement each time the feeder is cleaned and refilled. Included with each feeder is a Hummer Port Brush and two Nectar Guard Tips, which prevent insects from contaminating the sweet nectar.

Hummingbird care
Hummingbird Nectar:
- Mix 4 parts sterile tap water with 1 part white sugar.
- Sterilize water by boiling.
- Mix sugar in with hot water and set in the fridge to cool.
- Never use food coloring or dyes

- Clean your hummingbird feeder once a week when the season begins and once every 2-3 days during hot weather.
- Cleaning prevents your hummingbirds from getting infections and illnesses.
- Use pipe cleaners to clean the ports.

Suction cup guide
Getting a good seal on your suction cups can feel like a science. Here are some tips to help ensure good suction for your feeders.
- Never try to mount a suction feeder on cold days.
- Clean your windows (exterior required, interior beneficial for good viewing).
- Clean your suction cups.
- Dab cooking oil on a paper towel. Dab your finger on that spot. With just a little bit of oil on your finger, rub your finger around the rim of each suction cup.
- Mount your feeder evenly and push on the suction cups.
- Look at where the oil is as you press the suction cups to make sure you’re getting a full seal all the way aroun
